Run the licensed funeral home at ISB Cultural Center: meeting families, arrangements, care and preparation of the deceased, compliance, and graveside services in line with Muslim tradition and law. Starts as a contract, with the possibility of permanent part-time and later full-time work. The title depends on your experience and license. Hours are flexible, usually 11am to 5pm and weekends.

What it needs

  • A current funeral director license, or in the process of getting one (Massachusetts preferred)
  • An undergraduate degree
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable record
  • Experience working in Islamic organizations
  • Non-profit or funeral services experience preferred
